This dynamic wine resembles its older brother Brunello but keeps freshness and a light body.
Fermentation and maceration takes place in open oak barrels for 20 days. Once fermented, the wine matures in the same big barrels for 24 months and then rests for a minimum of 6 months in concrete tanks before being introduced in the bottle.
A deep ruby red that expresses its aromas with a symphony of fragrances, ranging from red fruits like cherries and strawberries, to floral notes like violets with a light spicy note. As a Rosso di Montalcino, this wine is structured and well-defined, and on the palate it is wide and soft with a beautiful persistence.
